Spartacus - Blood and Sand

Someone at work turned me on this series from Starz. I watched all 13 episodes of the first season and stood in Awe! Ok, I sat in Awe. One of the best series I have ever seen. Out on DVD for those that like... Fighting, Sex, Romans, Sex, Blood, Sex, and Intrigue. Oh, did I forget to mention Sex? Definately not family viewing.

I watched the prequel this past weekend which is 6 eposides explaining why many of the characters act the way they do. There is more fighting, more intrigue and (you guessed it) more sex. I highly recommend this series. Sadly the prequel, which I think they consider season 2, is not out on DVD yet. I watched it on Netflix. I think it is still available on Starz on Demand also. Take some time to explore these days gone by and please follow this advice... Never trust a Roman.

Duct tape is like the force; it has a light side and a dark side and holds the universe together.

Both series are streaming on Netflix, and yes, it is an awesome show.
I may not be perfect, but parts of me are pretty awesome.

Yes great show, though I only catch it once in a while which is not the way to watch it because doing it like that makes every episode seem the same (the lack of continuity makes it seem like every episode is just about guys in undies training).

With the copious amounts of naked women in the show....I guess I never noticed the dudes in their underwear plot line. As a matter of fact, I don't remember any plot lines... I guess I'll have to watch it again, and pay less attention to the random background nakedness.

CAN'T WAIT for Game of Thrones though...
