Has anyone played Galactic Civ 2? Was it any good? It came out in 2006. Anyway I thought this looked interesting but no release date yet.

Yes.

It was good though mostly in the classic 4x vein perhaps it was just my experiment with it but the campaign was a bit erratic/ difficult and it seemed to lack the richness of random ethical events that made gal civ 1 such ruin. I may have just not given it a fair go though. Time to revisit. and look at the new one...
