It was a good run...

#1 Post by Harbinger » Sun Apr 01, 2007 11:50 am

All good things must come to an end. Seripmav and I had a long talk after his last game night, last Thursday. Ser was very upset with how things came down and after a good soul searching, we both came to the inevitable conclusion that the group has diverged from its intended purpose. With recent, as well as long brewing inter-group hostilities plagueing our little corner of gaming heaven, we just can't see continuing in our current configuration. Certain members with a penchant for stirring up trouble have brought our little group to the brink of implosion.

We had our good times, I mean who can forget our good friend bjbalcerzak and his wacky antics? And Naddam kept us awash in written stiches for weeks. Those were the good times.

We are working on a new forum for a select few. You have all been sent a private message informing you of the new site. If you did not get a PM as of this morning, I can only wish you good luck. It was good while it lasted right?
Anyway, at the end of day Monday, Lartarin will turn the lights out. Good by all.
Memoir wouldn't do that...

I want to take the time to apologize to every member I have offended intentionally and unintentionally over the past year. I know I have been less than fair to you all and that you all, down deep, are really kind and caring people. I can not describe how this dismemberment of the PU has hurt me. I will now have to pay for counseling. You guys gave it for free. Harb, I have probably picked on you the most. You are a great guy even though you try to hide it. I am sorry. The Todd, you have been an inspiration. Seripmav, I am speechless. Auger the Average, live long brother. GT, we will always be connected since we share the same brain. I feel your pain. Skittlebrew, I have enjoyed your company deeply. Eric, you can rot in hell, I mean, you have really been swell. Laratin, I would ask for a refund, but I did say I'd pay for March. If, I left anyone out, then I am deeply sorry. LONG LIVE THE POLYHEDRAL UNDERGROUND!

Yeah, right! Nice try Harb. April fools to you, too.

It is really going to suck if it turns out this is not an evil April Fool's joke. This all really happened a few weeks ago and they just timed it so that everyone would assume it was a joke and not have time to plan the revolt. VIVA LA POLY-U

BTW...since I read this at 7:00 am on the 2nd..... it took me a second to figure it out... I'll admit it... I was duped. (especially after I frantically clicked my PM box to find it empty) Harb, you sure know how to give a guy a self-esteem deflation.......thought I might almost cry.....

At least I fooled someone. The part about BJ and Naddam really gave it away if you did a little research.

Sorry for any confusion.

And here I was thinking: "Oh no! I just found this place!" "How will I get in touch with everyone?" "I didn't get a PM, I guess a newbie like me doesn't rate!"

Dear Cypress,

It's not the newbie status.... it is the gratuitous use of smilies...sooooo annoying......

from,
