So, Anyone up for some gaming? I see being able to host Sat. the 26th (or 27th) or Sat. the 2nd (or 3rd).
Of course one of them is this weekend, so short notice, but hey planning never got me anywhere.

Let me know what you guys think.

Edit: Picked a date!

Start time: 9am!

Of the 4 dates the 26th works best for me. In general, Saturdays always seem more possible than Sundays for me for an "all day" event.

Don't count me out for the later weekend yet, I may be able to work out the 2nd or 3rd, but at this point I need to stay a "maybe" for the 2nd-3rd. I will update when I know more.

It has been a long time since a Palooza right? Or am I misremembering? Anyway, I am excited to see a Palooza on the docket no matter what date gets chosen.

Cheers!

This would be a great weekend for one, since classes start back on Monday!

Hmm, I think my attendance might require the use of a 'push your luck' mechanic... (but given the Risk shindig, I've no complaints).

In theory my best times are:
26th late afternoon/ evening - maybe;
27th late afternoon/ evening - maybe;
2nd - perhaps my best candidate,
3rd evening - dubious

Saturdays -- Jan. 26th or Feb. 2nd are possible. I'd really like to get some gaming in at the PU.

OK, lukewarm response, plus new travel schedule next week, makes me pull the trigger on this Saturday the 26th.

Start time: 9 am!

Schedule:
Risk Legacy?
Sheephead Tournament
Super Small World Realms/Underground
Probably lots of two player games?
Gossip about the players not in attendance
Macau (it is GotM after all)

I will be there.

I will bring Manderfields (please post if you are coming so I know how much to buy & for newer people if you have a preferred doughnut or other baked good, you can check out the bakery at the link below & let me know if you have any requests)

http://www.manderfieldsbakery.com/bakery/sweet-goods/

I can also bring my Magic Cube and Innistrad/Dark Ascension draft packs for any MTG-interested parties.

For games I will bring 2 Feld games, Trajan and Castles of Burgundy, that I want you all to learn so you can play with me online at boiteajeux. I can also bring Macao if there is real interest.

I also got Smash Up for a present, but I haven't learned it yet. I will try to crack the shrink and learn that b/f Saturday.

Cheers!

Eric, I played Smash Up on Saturday. I would be able to teach it if you don't get a chance to dig into it.

Put me down for some gossiping, and possibly a co-op or two.

I'll be there morning (maybe not 9 but soon thereafter) and can provide rides

I'd like to play Macau when we do our gossipping about those not in attendance

I'll see if I can make it. I know I won't be over in the morning as I have something going on.

I might be able to make it in the mid-afternoon, as Eric's post about Magic has me all starry eyed. I'm hoping the gossip is over by then as tempting as that sounds. When the backstabbing is ready to begin let me know and I'll bring Diplomacy. :-k

tentative schedule....

9am Harb plays Civ 5 on the computer, since no one will show up for another hour or two...
10am Donuts arrive, gossip begins.
11am Gossip continues. Focusing on Seripmav and BHL. "reach around's" will be mentioned more than once.
Noon Break into small groups since people finally start showing up.
1pm SB hasn't arrived yet. Vague text / post about some last minute commitment he wasn't aware of. Say's he'll try to make it later.
2pm Some games are played, but none of the games that anyone requested ahead of time get played.
3pm Yid shows up, makes comment about needing to install a muffler belt on his motorcycle in Minnesota, leaves after playing one filler game, having never fully heard all the rules.
4pm Seripmav shows up, plays with poker chips, watches the last turn of a game, and starts kibitzing about how to change the rules.
5pm GT bangs his knee, but we all know better than to call 9-1-1...this time.
6pm Werewolf, Shadow Hunters, or some other large group type game gets discussed so we can all get in one together.
7pm Harb starts grabbing random games out of the closet, since we are all still discussing if we should play werewolf.

Well Seripmav, he did say it was 'tentative.' And we all know what that means.

Replace 1pm with "SB hasn't arrived yet. Vague text / post about some last minute commitment he wasn't aware of. Say's he'll try to make it later."

Wow, you nailed that one.

You forgot to add to the 1pm slot that you were 78.6% sure that you'd be able to make it within the next two hours.
