Sorry for the last minute update. I'm out for tomorrow as well.

No problem man! Was great to game with you. Love Tichu, especially with experienced players as it makes noobs like me better. I have a lot of mixed feelings about Andean Abyss, but know that I need to play it 2 or 3 more times before I can really formulate an opinion. I think we all just played our factions so poorly, that it was like a 4-way knife fight between Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Ronnie Milsap, and Andrea Bocelli. With experience, I think the game will become a lot more tense, and will end in out-right victory more often than not. I could be completely off-base, and I plan to read a lot more about it in the next day or two to see what others say. Thanks a ton for teaching that though...I stayed up late the night before the game day to finish the rules, but still felt very foggy about then.

Thanks for coming out yesterday Brett! It was great to meet you and your wife (girlfriend?). Sorry...can't remember her name. Unfortunate we didn't get a game in together, but I hope you guys had a great time!

So that was really my 2nd play of Andean Abyss and both times it went really slowly. It's hard to know what to do because the options are seemingly pretty wide open and diverse. I think after a couple more plays we'll start to "get it" and the AP will go down.
