Star Wars CCG cards

#1 Post by boathouselooper » Sun Nov 21, 2010 8:55 pm

Okay - I'm starting to go through the cards I received in trade. One thing I noticed right away is that some cards have black borders and others have white. What is the significance of this?

Thanks!

This one I know... It is the same as it is in Magic.....

White = Base set
Black = Expansions

Black are considered more valuable than white. And, just like in magic, the first base sets were printed with black borders before a bunch of expansion sets were made.
Captain Yid - Hell, for 25 million I'd still play. It's not like he is being dared to eat cat crap or anything.

Thanks!

That's interesting, as the set of cards has quite a few black bordered ones. I'm watching some youtube videos on how to play. Looks like a pretty cool game.

I've got a few thousand in a box somewhere I could dig out...and a few thousand more "Young Jedi" cards...that was a fun game.
I may not be perfect, but parts of me are pretty awesome.

I have a ton as well. Its a fun game, but one of the limitations is its pretty much 2 player only.
