Hey All,

As mentioned in my other post, I just got into the Rackham/Confrontation miniatures set when I picked up the game Hybrid (go figure, didn't even notice they weren't pre-painted). So on that note, Ian had said he and some other people had hoped to get a night together and do some miniature painting. If not, then can we plan one? ;)

I would really value any painting tips or some time spent with experienced mini painters, as I personally have never done any miniature painting. Would anybody be interested in this? If so, can we set up a time over the next week or two that we could do it? I am currently free most nights except Thursdays, but those are PU gaming nights anyways. Thoughts?

Thanks,

GT and I had a mini painting afternoon at my place back last summer or fall. I don't remember, exactly. It was good, and I'd be interested in doing it again. I may have to borrow a table if a whole bunch of people show up and people may want to bring their own desklamps, but I do have the room. I also have two cats, so if you're allergic, let me know and I can get you the drugs I take (just off the shelf Target-brand Claratin) so you don't sneeze all over your army and such.

I'm thinking a Saturday would work best. Not sure if it would work for the others in the group, though. The first weekend of May is PointCon in Stevens Point and the second Saturday of May (the ninth) is Half-Day Game Day V at House of Heroes, so just a heads up there.

I can bring my folding 2.5 x 7 convention table whenever we can do this.

I can't do anything in May until after the 10th. Then I am mostly free until June. Would a week night be an option? A couple 7-10 bouts of painting would be pretty productive.

That might end up working better for me (meaning the weeknights). Our weekends are packed for the rest of this month with gaming events, and it looks like your weekends are packed with other things in May. Especially if we are getting into Warmachine, there will be a lot of mini's to be painted. I'm up for it any night but Thursdays (which are your gaming nights anyways at Harb's) and every-other Tuesday night. The rest of my weeknights are pretty much open if it is planned in advance.
