I was just a vocal supporter and salesman during the kickstarter. Spreading the word, and helping out answering questions in the comments section. I was also running hourly statistics and things in the final couple of days to keep people hyped and involved. I was cracking jokes, and getting people involved, and the comments section was more active than any kickstarter I have ever seen. When it ended, it was the biggest board game ever on kickstarter, it got beaten out by OGRE shortly after, but it passed them up despite running head to head against each other! An unknown game from a first time designer, and a first time board game publisher, took on an Industry giant, and kicked their ass. For a few days at least....
In a nutshell, I let my fan boy flag fly, and people go behind it.
A few months ago, Guillotine Games contacted me and said they wanted to add someone to the game to commemorate the fun experience that was the kickstarter campaign, and they chose me. They said they couldn't imagine the whole experience being the same if I wasn't part of it, so I was the obvious choice to represent the fan boys. So I sent them a few pictures and some short bio questions, and there I am I the box!
It truly is the greatest honor I have ever received. I don't know if that seems like a shallow highlight, but as a gamer, and someone who loves to spread joy around him, being chosen to be IN a game, BECAUSE I was spreading joy ... is such an epic gift. I'm not worthy!

I may not be perfect, but parts of me are pretty awesome.
