Re: Kickstarter List
Ok, so one or both of us can cancel. The other (or another) opts into the 6 pack deluxe @$120 and we all pay them $20. [Mrs CD is asleep and i missed my chance to have the discussion
]
[I know that some KS campaigns get a bit funny about backing and backing out but I emailed the designer (or whoever is running the Ks) today and they didn't see it as an issue ].

Re: Kickstarter List
I'm getting a free copy, but would jump in for another one to fill out the six pack if needed.
I may not be perfect, but parts of me are pretty awesome.

I would also be interested in this, if you need a 6th. Please LMK.

Re: Kickstarter List
will do so this evening
Ok, we have Kickstarter-ed a 6 pack deluxe edition.
CD
DE
DG
Harb
GT
with SB or BHL in slot 6 - as SB has a copy, I'd suggest that BHL take the slot but SB has 1st refusal. (next step up is a 10 pack...
).
I also wonder if we need to start a new (2014) Kickstarter list as this may be getting clunky/ cluttered - what do y'all think?

Re: Kickstarter List
BHL can have the spot. I'm already getting a free copy.
I was just jumping in for a second one to help fill up a six pack, betting it would make good trade fodder.

Re: Kickstarter List
So this is happening...
Tiny Epic Defenders...
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/co ... nav_search
I'm wondering if there would interest in another 6 pack... let me know
(I'll likely back though I'm not 100% sure I can underwrite two 6 packs at once)

Re: Kickstarter List
Not really a kickstarter but I pre-ordered it so long ago it feels like it. Got Dead of Winter today unexpectedly. Pretty stoked.
If it's half as cool as the Watch it Played video made it seem, I can't wait to break it out.

Got my copy of Dead of Winter a couple days ago also! Punched, sleeved, and ready to hit the table!
Also, recently received KSed titles;
Viva Java the dice game,
Top This: Pizza Flicking Game,
Zombie 15',
Kings Forge,
Epic Death,
Oddball aeronauts.
It's been a good week for KS game delivery at my house!

I heard about this: Compounded: Geiger Expansion
Did anyone back the original Compounded? How did it turn out?

I don't make everything dirty. I just show you the dirtiness you've been in denial about.

Re: Kickstarter List
Gonna post this here in case anyone might be interested: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/62 ... mbat/posts
Pros:
1) The funding threshold is low
2) The turnaround will probably be pretty quick based on his previous projects and the fact that it's low volume run and self-produced.
3) The game is genuinely fun and I can say 3 of the games you can pick up at higher funding are pretty cool.
Cons:
1) The guy is kind of a terrible businessman. He's not very up on running a KS. He set this one to only 7 days because he figured since most pledges come in the first 24 hours the length for funding didn't matter, without taking into account the funder's psychology and inherent interest in stretch goals and such.
2) These are self-produced. Now, they are some of the BEST self-produced games I've ever seen. He's got his own die cutter, 3d printer, and some other high end gear. But at the same time, there's clearly a line between this and a professionally published game.
We met this designer and Gencon and having played 6 of his games, we're basically huge fans of the actual games and ideas in them he puts forth. I'm hoping this funds because if it does, he's immediately putting my favorite game of his I've played on KS (Demise of Dr. Frankenstein) and hopefully I'm going to help him manage the thing.
Gonna bring both Giant and Demise to the NEWgame meeting tonight as well as the convention itself, but the Giant project ends before then.
Here's sarah's review of Giant (it also includes mini-reviews for 3 of the other games he's offering): http://www.geekgirlpenpals.com/2014/10/ ... ble-giant/

Re: Kickstarter List
In addition to quite a few other things... my copy of Shadows of Brimstone showed up last week. (A few days too late for NEWGame..ARG!)
The number of random event charts alone makes my pants get a little tight in front. It's amazing. Expect me to start pushing it to hit the table soon...

In truth, the passion and eloquence of your prose brings vivid imagery to our careless minds, possibly imagery which we shall pray to be taken from us and which may leave us with red-stained pale orbs dangling by tangled nerve bundles from our bloody ocular holes, forever scarred by that which you visit upon us.Skittlebrau wrote:The number of random event charts alone makes my pants get a little tight in front.
