I'm gonna start an online site called kickintheballsstarter that you can donate to give someone a kick in the balls.

Hurry up seripmav, I got some money for that.

I backed agents of Smersh, this cool looking Genecrafter game, Seven Sisters, For the Win, and my Realm Coins came yesterday. I'll have multiple copies of each of these, with promos if anyone in interested in buy or trade.

Looper, how many D Day Dice you got coming?

I funded Kings of Air and Steam, so I will have that sometime in July.

Looper - What would you want for the Eminent Domain, or better yet how much? =P~
It is never just a game when you are winning.

Realm Coins.... after laughing at me for suggesting I back this.

Yeah - I'm interested in Realm Coins since I missed the Kickstarter!

I'm not sure I'd say I myself was laughing at it, just noting the silliness of buying fake money wth an equivalent of real money.

I'm in on Escape!
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/101 ... yan-temple

It has quite a few bonuses and is ending soon.

Co-ops work good for our family.

I am really interested in Escape... but I am still not 100% on backing it at full price, since I know it will show up in stores soon anyway. Queen has a good track record of nice looking and well produced games, and picking it up online in a few months for half the price is an easy choice.

I am trying to spread my kickstarting dollars on some of the self published title that might not otherwise see the light of day, and might only ever be purchase-able this way. Things like Wok Star, for example, which I pre-ordered and backed right away a couple of years ago, and hasn't gone into print again since. It's really hard to find now, so I am very happy to have a copy!

I am backing Wasteland 2. Boardgames, meh. I already own too many.

I use to have a kick starter on my old Honda Hawk, but I don't think this is the same thing. Can you explain this?

I'm backing Ogre. I really hope it reaches its $200K goal. I used to play this baby back in the 80's.

Captain Yid - Hell, for 25 million I'd still play. It's not like he is being dared to eat cat crap or anything.

No, I sold the Hawk for money to buy my 78 Chevrolet Chevette, my first car. That was a fun car to drive. I still don't get the kickstarter thing. You'd pay me to develop a game? Is that like donating money towards my breast enhancement surgery or am I missing the boat here?

It's like a pre-order.

You buy a copy of the game far enough in advance that they can use the funds to produce the game.

So, to fit your breast implant concept...

I am paying for a lap dance today that I will receive in 4-6 months, at which time I will be smacked in the face by those new boobs I helped pay for in advance. And since other people in the future will get to take advantage of those new boobs and help her "pay for college" she might add special nipple clamps or an extra knee grind to the junk to reward those of us that helped make it possible.

And that's how kickstarter works.

This is very enlightening, Skittle. Thanks for the clarification.
