I'm new in town, but I am a gamer.

Favorite games: Call of Cthulhu, Deliria, Serenity, Dr. Who, horror and steampunk games. Oh how I love steampunk.

I have been a Gamemaster before, and would again, but just looking to play on a regular/semi regular basis.

I'll PM you with some contact information and help make some introductions.

I know a fair number of RPG groups in the surrounding area, and am probably more in tune than anyone else on these forums with the RPG crowd. (I'm an RPG'er in the blood...board games are a secondary pleasure, but easier to get going with life & family getting in the way all the time.)

Are you a student by chance?

Side note: I am looking to run a few one-shots or maybe a one-two type thing in the next few weeks/months. I haven't run a game in a little while, but I've got the itch to get back in the saddle again, for at least a short burst or two. I can't commit to anything more long term (WAY too much on my plate right now) But I am pushing to try and set up a "Once-A-Month-One-Shot" type scenario, where we can rotate out GM's, themes, systems, etc. And give people a chance to come and try it out without a long term commitment, or give people a chance to GM something if they want.

I'm not a student.

And yes, I do own and apply deodorant. And sometimes perfume.

And Skilltebrau, I'd appreciate any information you can give me.

Don't mind the Cap'n. He has an odd way of greeting new members.

Yes, I am a "noob" on these boards, but not to RPG's.

I bought my first D & D game from Woolie's, years ago, it was the red box version. But couldn't find anyone to play with.

I've played Call of Cthulu and Deliria at GenCon, Furnace, and Origins.

I've run Call of Cthulhu and other games.

So thank you for the welcome.

Man, I could go for playing Cthulhu again. I've only ever played at GenCon but I'd prefer gaming with people I know.

I also bought the red box as my first DND game, back when Kohl's carried it! Life changing experience to be sure. Luckily my best friend and I were able to recruit a few others and now I have too many stories, too many games, and not enough time.

Welcome.

We are up for another member for our Monday night D & D. We play from 5pmish to 9:30 and sometimes on the weekends. We are at level 7 right now.

I can't really make weeknights, as I tend to work until around 6 pm, later if the you know what hits the fan. Weekends are the times I have free.

I realise that it's very unlikely you're talking about Woolworths (the now defunct UK chain department store) but that took me back!

Welcome btw. I'm not really a RPG'er but hope to conincide to say hello sometime.

btw, for the Cthulhu folk a friend and former colleague wrote http://www.cubicle7.co.uk/our-games/cthulhu-britannica/shadows-over-scotland/ which is appartently pretty good if you're looking for inspiration!
