What type of gamer are you?: RPG
I once played in a Vampire game that made me want to put some penicillin in my dice bag at the end....

But back on topic...I would be down for a game of 4E. online, live, whatever. it would be fun.

The last time I was back home, my brother expressed some interest in my D+D stuff. I'd like to DM a game for him at Fire and Ice, let him get a taste of what it's like.

However, I'm worried that I'm going to need a lot of stuff I don't have. I've never played a D+D game in person, let alone DM'd one.

I'd probably like to run Keep on the Shadowfell ( http://www.amazon.com/Keep-Shadowfell-D ... 0786948507 ), as it's designed for new players, and comes with several different sample characters.

So besides that I'm definitely going to need a bunch of dice. And a DM screen would probably be handy. And then we need some sort of way to keep track of characters on the maps. Do I need minis for that?

So yes, this endeavor is getting more and more expensive, but whatever.

Basically (1) does anyone have any suggestions and (2) feel free to join us for a game at Fire and Ice if you want.

Don't bother with buying the books. I have all of them in pdf, and I would surely let you "borrow" them so you can test drive the stuff.

If you come to the Palooza I'll have a disc with them if you want.
