Star Trek "The Menagerie" in Appleton

#1 Post by Seripmav » Fri Nov 09, 2007 9:35 am

To kick off the sale of the remastered editions there is a screening of "The Menagerie" in Appleton at the Regal next Tuesday the 13th at 7:30. Gillian and I will be going (well I'm going and dragging her along) and are inviting anyone else who wants to go. Maybe we can grab a bite to eat or something.

Was nice to see it on the big screen. The quality was great and the new backgrounds and ship effects add really nice touches.

I would be interested in having them try one episode in which they also changed all the sets. I know purist would complain and it's a ton of work to do that (cutting them out and putting them into new shots) but I think it'd be neat to see what they could really do with it.

Parent/Teacher conferences prevented us from attending.

Darn teachers and their wanting us to be involved in our kids lives....when will they ever learn that this is why we keep cutting their budgets on them.

Hey, that is the same reason I couldn't attend the conferences of my own kids. What is with that?

I just go where I'm told. Hell is a frequent location.
